CORROSION PROTECTION
This article describes the synthesis of an aqueous epoxy dispersion with improved anticorrosive properties for application on metal surfaces. The formulation is based on ED-20 epoxy resin with polyamine hardener, supplemented with stabilizing and modifying additives. The effect of salt media on the stability of the obtained coating was studied using IR-Fourier spectroscopy and visual analysis. Tests have shown that the film retains its structural integrity and chemical stability after exposure in a 5% NaCl solution. The proposed dispersion is a promising solution for creating environmentally friendly anticorrosive coatings.
Features of using corrosion inhibitors as components of paint coatings are considered, immobilization and encapsulation as methods for regulating the activity of inhibiting components in suppressing the corrosion of painted metals.
