PROCESSING OF POLYMERS AND COMPOSITES
The properties of epoxy coatings, chemically crosslinked by synthesized amine hardeners, containing hydroxyurethane and alkoxysilane fragments, and their mixtures, were investigated. A positive influence of organosilicon fragments on the thermal stability of the coatings was demonstrated, and a hardener ratio corresponding to the highest anticorrosive properties of the coatings was found.
A technology for synthesizing specialized polyurethane prepolymers for creating antistatic coatings has been developed. The antistatic properties of coatings based on modified polyurethane prepolymers have been studied. It has been shown that the introduction of functional additives based on graphite nanotubes allows for a reduction in the specific surface and volume resistance of antistatic coatings to values of 106 ohms and 106 ohm m. It has been found that the introduction of 3% graphite nanotubes reduces the coating resistance by almost 40 times. The created materials can be used in construction, electronics, the chemical industry, healthcare, and hazardous industries.
